Awarness is the KEY to success…

How socializing can help to develop network of friends?

I have been on move since I started working 15 years back. In the beginning of my career, when I moved for the first time to a new town, I did have this challenge of making new friends, since I did not know anyone. However, over a period of time I did learn that socializing is the best way to get to know people in new places.

I am sure you will resonate that there are many ways we get in contact with people which sometimes blossom to friendship &/o some time just stays as an acquaintance. There are times when we meet people on a night out, either in a bar, restaurants or clubs and this type of interaction is more to with mutual understanding. Few other connections only last a few hours, simply because we may not have much in common.

As Life is all about ‘learning’, it is important to get connected to people to learn appreciating each other’s views, ideas, opinions etc. If we are able to connect, appreciate, value, associate and socialize, then building network will be lot easier.

In this process, what is more important is keep ‘Open Mind’ as you will never know whom you will meet or connect to. It is a wonderful experience when you look forward to the day ahead with positive mental frame without any prejudice…

Meeting new people was always an exciting thing for me. This gave me the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people. This not only gives an opportunity for you to shape up your perspective of Life, but will also give you a great deal of confidence in handling variety of people you come across.

The easiest way to develop socializing is when you get an invite from a friend &/or an acquaintance to go out i.e. either to a cafe, cinema, temple or social event. You get to meet lots of people. There are many other places you can meet new people and get engaged, depending on where you enjoy going. One more way is to get enrolled to recreational activities. This is a great way to meet people.

Above all, what is more important is to be happy with-in, love yourself so that others can see the goodness in you. Try to be participative, do not expect people to always come to you, sometimes you have to be the one to strike up a conversation.

Some of the thoughts shared here are the ones which helped me to improve self
